If you're preparing to welcome your baby at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital, you're likely spending a lot of time thinking about birth and very little time thinking about yourself afterward. The postpartum period can be beautiful, emotional, exhausting, and deeply transformative, all at once. Many families choose placenta encapsulation as part of their postpartum wellness plan to help them feel more nourished and supported during those early weeks with a new baby. My goal is to make the process feel simple and stress-free. Once your baby arrives, a quick text, call, or email is all that's needed to arrange pickup. From there, I carefully handle the preparation, encapsulation, and delivery so you can focus on resting, healing, and bonding with your little one. I provide placenta encapsulation services for families delivering at North Florida Hospital and throughout Gainesville, Alachua County, and surrounding North Central Florida communities. Every placenta is prepared using dedicated equipment and careful sanitation practices, with pickup typically completed within 24 hours of birth notification and capsules returned within 72–96 hours. It would be an honor to support your postpartum journey with thoughtful, personalized care.
Placenta encapsulation is a traditional postpartum practice chosen by some families as part of their recovery and nourishment plan after birth.
The postpartum period is a time of deep transition. This service is offered to support rest, grounding, and replenishment during those early days.
Many families report feeling supported in:
-
Physical recovery after birth
-
Energy and emotional steadiness
-
Lactation and milk supply support
-
Iron replenishment and nourishment
-
A greater sense of grounding in postpartum
Each experience is unique, and this is always a personal choice.
