My Philosophy
Each offering is designed to meet you where you are, whether you’re preparing for birth, moving through labor, or navigating the early days of postpartum.
Prenatal Care
During pregnancy, we will meet to get to know one another and learn more about your unique story. I take time to understand your previous experiences with birth, your hopes and desires for this experience, and how I can best support you throughout your journey.
Together, we will explore your birth preferences, fill in any gaps in knowledge about the birth process, and help you feel more confident as you move toward the birth setting you've chosen. We will also make space for the deeper questions that can shape birth experiences, including fears, anxieties, and any concerns that arise along the way. These visits are an opportunity to ask big or small questions, process new information, and prepare for birth.
Birth Support
I use simple techniques to create a calm, grounded, and nurturing environment where you feel safe to move through labor in your own way. Through touch, counterpressure, massage, movement, and presence, I support the physiological process of birth while honoring the wisdom of your body.
Birth often asks us to move through the unknown. There may be moments of strength, vulnerability, surrender, joy, and intensity. My role is to hold steady space for whatever arises, allowing you to feel seen, supported, and free to experience your labor fully.
I believe partners are an essential part of the birth space and work to involve them as much as possible. Together, we create an environment where you feel supported not only by me, but by the people you have chosen to welcome into your birth.
I deeply value the rituals, traditions, and personal practices that bring meaning to this transition. Whether through quiet presence, prayer, music, or other forms of ceremony, I consider it an honor to witness and support what feels sacred to your family.
Throughout labor, I strive to ensure that you have the time, space, and information needed to make decisions that feel aligned with your values. When advocacy is needed, I work to amplify your voice and foster collaboration within your care team.
Postpartum Care
I believe postpartum is a vital time to slow down, recover, and settle into the rhythms you want to create as a family.
We will meet for a follow-up visit anytime between one and five weeks after your birth. This visit creates space to process your birth experience when and if you feel ready, receive lactation support, ask questions about infant care, and navigate the early postpartum period together.
Accessibility
I want my services to be as accessible as possible to those who feel connected to my work. Clients may apply up to two discounts toward their birth package. Because this work is how I support myself and my family, I trust those requesting reduced pricing to honestly assess their needs and choose the option that best reflects their circumstances.
Available discounts include:
• Birth worker discount
• Student discount
• Planned home birth discount
• Birth photographer discount
• Financial hardship discount

Raw Method
After preparation, it is dehydrated, ground into powder, and placed into capsules (gelatin or vegetarian upon request).
